hey guys- been gone all week again so thought i would check in on things. trying real hard to secure some more ground in illinois this week. my trainer at work is a big hunter and have been talking to him alot trying to find out some landowners that would let me hunt out aroud where Im staying. he seems to know every landowner out there.

i probably wont get to hunt alot this year with this new job and working 56 hrs a week but Im hoping to slip in this woods by my house the first free evening I get and put an arrow through the 11pt in my sig. Think he'll go about 130. If not, theres another roaming around with him his same size but doesnt have the split G2.

Got some bad news guys...

I probably wont be much help to the team-- Ive got my sights set on waiting for a doe this year. An ALBINO doe!!

I was just out checking out 10acres that went for sale bordering the ground Ive hunted since my first season. I walked off the road into the woods a couple hundred yards checking out the lay of the land when I turned and started heading north to the boundary line when I looked up and saw white. At first I assumed it was a deer with its tail all flaired out in the air but then I noticed that the entire thing was pure white! Im pumped now knowing that there is an albino running the woods I grew up hunting and knowing that I stand a good chance at getting this deer. It wasnt a big deer but I dont believe it was this years fawn, maybe a late deer deer from last year or a very early deer for this year. Im guessing it probably went maybe 70lbs. Ive been real busy at work so I havent had much time to get ready for/think about this season but now I cant wait for it to start! Honestly Ive never been more shaken up by a deer in my life even though it didnt have a rack and I didnt even have a bow w/ me. COME ON OCT. 1st!!
btw- I plan on heading out again tomorrow and putting my trail cam in the area to hopefully get a few pics of the deer.

Hey guys....

Just checking in with you all. I was out early this morning scouting around and checking for newer deer tracks. I have my spot all picked out and know exactly the tree I am going to use. Can't wait!!!! [8D]

I've been shooting the heck out of my old PSE bow and it is still dead on accurate with no problems at all.

Hey dvdegeorge....

Welcome to the team! I added your name to the team roster, then re-FTP'd the image back on my website. Rochester, NY huh? [8D] I have relatives in Rochester on my mom's side. I'm originally from Poughkeepsie, NY (downstate) and my wife is from Buffalo.

Welcome aboard!
