Hey guys!! I'm in Mississippi in the heart of deer haven! Killed 3 bucks and 1 doe last year, but all with a gun. It was my first year bow hunting last year, and just couldn't get them close enough for a bow kill. Our bow season opens Oct. 1 and runs about 6 weeks before gun opens. I hunt the primitive weapon season with a bow, don't own a smoke pole.

Let's see if we can get some info. from all...........

Groundhunter: Central Mississippi, season starts Oct. 1, ends Jan. 31, biggest buck to date-8 pnt, Hoyt Magnatech, hunting 640 acres private lease land, gun and bow hunt.

I'm from Western Kentucky. I've been bow hunting for 22 years now. We can only get one buck in Ky. so I hold out for a big one or nothing. Our season opens Sept 4 and runs untill mid Jan. My best bow kill was in 2002. It grosses 173 and nets 159+. Can't figure out how to post pics on this site.

I'll hold my own dont worry or stress about me coming through just worry about yourselfs lol. Im just playing around im hunting just west of columbus in ohio season starts oct 2.
