Archery deer contest sign up w/ rules until august 20
Rules....
1 deer must be taken legally and ethically as laws apply in your state
2 archery equiptment may be used in the harvest only
3 no doe will be accepted into the contest
4 we will use the P&Y scoring system on deer to be entered ... measure the rack as soon as you can get to it no need to let dry..
5 4 members per team that will be drawn at random
6 deadline to sign up is AUGUST 20th by 11:59 any entries at 12:00 will not be counted
7 must have a picture posted of your kill to prove that you have actually taken and animal.. if you dont have a scanner or digital camera im sure someone that you know does , jsut get the pic on here as soon as u can after the news of your harvest...
8 4 entries per team at the end of the contest the total will be the TEAM score ex( 120+140+100+160=520 total inches for the team)
9 you may enter your FIRST bow kill buck of the season , there are alot of gusy on here that only get to take one buck per arcehry season due to work and laws in their state , that way it is fair to EVERYONE , because obviously everyone can take one deer
10 no hunting preserve deer or pay hunt deer will beaccepted , private land that you have gained access to is OK ....
And count me in .... Deadline for registration once again is AUGUST 20th by 11:59 PM

I guess my vote(if it's not already decided on) is that there isn't an entry fee or really anything you can win other than your team has board recognition for a year up until next season's contest. We are already relying heavyily on your own word as to what buck your entering. I think that this is just something fun to do as your trying to stick "Big Ben". Good luck to all!!!
