bwhunter501, I've actually been doin' some scouting in Ogle County. Thinking about hangin' a stand out there. Have you picked up your tags yet? I keep calling the IDNR and Bass Pro Shop in Gurnee and both say wait, soon. It seemd earlier last year.

Here's a pick of a spike with about 8" brow tines that walked right past me while scouting this past Tuesday, he got within about 10'. He just kept on walkin', never really saw me, I could tell he just knew.

Man, I'm just so pumped this time of year.
