scope problem

I was shooting my xbow yesterday. I shot about 20 bolts hitting inside a 2" circle every time. Shot 21 went 8" high on my block target. Next shot went over the block completely. I ended lowering my crosshairs 40 clicks, completely bottomed scope out. I am right at the top of the 2" circle now. I have removed every bolt, put on new locktite, replaced scope rings, and problem is still there. Anyone ever had this happen to them? I am going to replace the scope. It is a scope for a xbow so it is the right kind of scope. Just really weird experience.

Most of the scopes that come on crossbows are junk with the exception of a couple. Shooting field tips or broadheads?

I was shooting field points

Sounds to me the scope crapped out. Replace it and let us know.

I agree that the scope is done. Buy the best scope you can. The Nikon cross bow , BDC 60 is a pretty good one. \

If you have a spare rifle scope, put it on for a trial. All the best.
