In fairness I should say that I've not shot the Barnett Vengence.

As it is also a reverse draw type bow it might be lower noise, but speed for draw weight isn't quite the equal of a Scorpyd, so maybe not.

But for lowest noise the reverse draw design xbows are the way to go, shoot a couple and see for yourself.

I absolutely love my Excalibur Vortex. Very simple design, super low maintenance. And DEADLY accurate. If I where to ever buy another CB it would be a newer model Exacl. Not that I would ever need a different one.
