Nikon X-Bow Scope

Anyone have feed back on this scope?

I am considering moving away from a lighted dot type sight. Do not want to depend upon electronics and battery life. Besides I have struggled with being accurate with this sort of sight picture. Not sure why, just am!

I heard it was an awesome scope...just alittle pricey...

FYI - Have set-up and range tested the scope. Five test velocity shots chronographed between 309 -313 fps. Scope was set dead on at a level 20 yards. Tested at BDC marks (30-40-50-60 yards). Results: Pretty good in my book, though I doubt I ever try any farther than 40 yards. These shots were with 125 gr. Montec broad heads, Parker 20" Red Hot bolts shot out of a 2010 vintage Parker Tornado.

20 yards ---- dead on
30 yards ---- dead on
40 yards ---- about 1" low
50 yards ---- about 2" low
60 yards ---- about 3" low

Got a excalabur lunizone few years ago 10 yards up to 50 dead on and theres a switch where you can have the reticles iluminated for low light conditions,I dont think I ever had to use the light feature yet but nice to have and it is the best xbow scope I have ever owned..Its dead on..The new ones have choice of red or green illumination,But they are different name now so I cant speak how good they are but im sure they are just as good and have a great service dept.and lifetime warranty.
