Default horton crossbow bolts?

I have a Horton team realtree 175 bow. It came with horton mx aluminum bolts with notched nocks. I only have 1 bolt left. But have a bunch of the old aluminum lightnining strike bolts with flat nocks. Do you all think there would be a problem trying these with bow. thanks

I would use what the manufacturer recommends. The Carbon MX bolts are pretty nice too. I had the same CB when I started out and liked it. Now I have an Excalibur recurve and started shooting the GT Lazer II's with brass inserts. IMO, these are some of the best on the market for the price. They are also cheaper than the Horton bolts. You can have them made to order most places with your choice of inserts, vanes and nocks.

One of these days people will call them arrows instead of bolts.

Don't shoot flat nocked arrows out of your Horton
