Excal question...Is this normal?

Sighted my excal in before bow season - about 10 weeks ago. Was thinking about taking bow out again this week so decided to shoot it to make sure it was still on and WOW - IT SHOT 1 1/2 INCHES LOW AT 20 YARDS!
I have a Boo string that is on it 2nd season so it's broke in.
Here's my question...
Should POI have changed that much?
If not normal what should I be looking at as a possible problem?
Thanks,
Barry

I've had the POI change that much in 10 weeks time, esp with new bow, string. Air temp, even humidity, can affect the flight of an arrow...not to mention string stretching, even one as good as Boo's. Don't think anything is wrong with the bow.

It can be in the arrow. I check my hunting arrows at 30 before and after putting bheads on them. I mark a 'known good' arrow w/ field point for 20 yd check before heading out.

My problem is too many arrows, I need to sort them yet again.

Are you shooting with BH's or field points. If you shoot fixed blade that may require tuning maybe you got the kock vane turned. I always mark my vanes when sighting. Even with field points. Then I always make sure that vane is in the track in the rail. I shoot mechanicals so I am usually good to go once I have all my vanes on each arrow marked(shooting field points). Seems like fixed blade almost always require tuning. Just a thought. You probably already know all of this anyways. Just trying to help.

10 weeks and 1.5 inchs is OK and nothing to worry about. you should shoot your xbow every week or so during hunting season anyway, because things do change.
