buying first crossbow which of these 2?
 

Im in the market for my first crossbow and have it narrowed down to the parker buck buster or the excalibur axiom. Im wanting a pretty flat shooting crossbow out to 30 yards. i like the axiom but the only thing that scares me away is its speed. I wont be shooting longer than 35 yards.

Not real familiar w/ BB, have shot a few. Am real familiar w/ Excals. Super simple, you do all your own maintenance.

Either choice will take any game in NA, w/ a well placed shot. I slowed my 350 fps Emax down to 328 and my 200# Y-25 from 330 fps to about 295-300. Benefits: less noise and vibration.
