Horton Legacy HD 175 Recurve
 

I've been looking into getting a crossbow and found a Legacy for 250. Anyone have any thoughts on these? I know a compound has a higher FPS but I'm not sure how much i'll get to use it and its cheaper than compounds.

Well I am not very familiar with the Legacy, but if you think you are giving up FPS by going to a re curve check out the Excalibur line as we as the fact that maintenance is less costly and simple and easy as well as the fact you can do it your self.
