Spitifire Broadheads

s there any difference between the standard spitfire and the spitfire crossbow broadheads? Do they use the same replacement blades.

Good Question...

I know the 170gr Spitfire Magnum high FOC crossbow BH's only have a 1-1/4" cuttting diamter

While the regular 100gr & 125gr spitffires have a 1-1/2" cutting diameter.

I'm not 100% sure but some of the other styles might have the same cutting diameter and the same size blades, but the retention clips might be stiffer or different on the crossbow ones since they are specially designed for hi-speeds and higher poundage draws.

May have to conatct NAP to find out for sure though.

there number and email is here:

hope this helps....

There is no difference.Just like the Spitfire Maxx and the Crossbow Spitfire Maxx.NO difference.I called NAP and asked them about this. They said they are just trying to target Crossbow hunters with their advertisements.

I have been using the regular 100gr Spitfire's on my CB for years now. Everyone else I hunt with have been going to the Thwakers or Rage expandables, but I have always liked the spitfires and feel they fly EXACTLY like my field points do.

The bleed fine and have never had any issues. The past four years I have found that the Cabelas brand is basically the same and half the price!!! I have taken several deer each year with them with no recovery problems. I highly recommend them.
