What type of crossbow is this?

Hey guys i managed to score this bow off a mate, thing is i dont know what type or model it is or anything. Can use help me out? Could i use it for hunting? I needs a string where can i buy it from? Its missing the front sight, does that matter? How can i check for damage? Also i need some bolts
Sorry about all the question, this is my first post on the forum, so hello guys!

Can't say for sure, but looks like came from Sportmans Guide or other discount mail order house. Arrow Presicion' Fury or something similar. They'll have strings and arrows for it, if so.

Your pic shows a scope on it, which would negate the need for front sight.

If you are new to these things, be careful, they can hurt you! Like finger in string path above rail.

although it has a camo finish it appears to be one of those 150lb. imports you see all over ebay. just do a search and im sure youll find most of these bows are the same with different finishes. maybe give these people a shout to see what string or arrows they recommend. http://www.thecrossbowstore.com/150-...sbows-s/35.htm

Check your laws, think xbows just became verbotten down under. Also, suspect your's is made by Poe Lang in Taiwan under a bunch of names.

Not that's it's a bad thing.

BTW, there's a list of does and dont's at the top of this page. Have fun!!

I wasn't implying about safety to others, which is why your xbow teats are unfairly in the wringer in Oz, but rather for you. If you don't know the diff in scopes and peep and pins, you imply you are new to them, in which case, I tried to help.

Have at it.:party0005:

Sorry i think i came across harsh, i ment like will it affect the bolt, i thought you might have to have the front sight on. But yes, ive never used a crossbow before,
