Excalibur Ibex crossbow

Hi everyone,
I'm looking to buy a Excalibur Ibex crossbow, and i live in Canada, and i was wondering if anyone knows how good this bow is I'm looking to shoot targets and maybe some Deer hunting, and where could I buy or order it from? Thanks

Its built by Excal, thats says it all! Great company great products. One thing about Excal you don't just buy a Bow, you invest in a company. I have owned 5 of them & have 2 right now! I ain't never owned a compound CB! :s12:

They don't make a compound CB that i would trade fer my old vixen ! I ain't selling nor trading it fer another model Excal either. I will just buy another one :D Don't aim at same spot on a target & shoot fer groups chances are you will be buying more arrows!

The 175 lb bows will do really well on targets and moose. Where in Canada do you live?

I live in Quesnel B.C.

I want to shoot targets mostly but i might want to do some hunting once i get used to shooting a crossbow. I had a Hou Shiegh i probably spelled it wrong, anyways i shot it once and the limb got a crack and i fixed it, then i shot it again and then the trigger would go off randomly so i fixed it, then when i shot for the 3rd time mind you, the bowstring blew up in my face.:confused0024:

Also i still have some arrows there 20" 2219 "golden stalkers" they have a 100 grain field tip on them, would these work with the excal ibex?

Buy it from the closest place that will back up the warranty. If in the unlikely event you have a warranty issue you should be able to take it to the selling dealer and they should send it back or ship whatever needs to be shipped back at their cost. If you buy it from much further you will either have to ship it yourself at your cost to drive it a longer way. Just a consideration for you.
There are a couple of people in the Excalibur forum from BC. You might want to ask them where to buy.

I would buy from the excalibur dealer in quesnel (where i live) but the prices are much much higher than from an online retailer.
