Default New Parker Cyclone or Strykeforce??

Hi guys,
New to the forum. Love to hunt and fish with all types of equipment. This is my first jump into a crossbow. Was looking at the new Strykefoce crossbow or the Parker cyclone. Any input from you guys would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your help
Brad

I'm shooting the 09 Cyclone. Great bow. It's rated at 365 fps with a 400 gr arrow. I'm using a 439 gr arrow for 344 fps (ave of 6). I'm told that the 2010 Cyclone's tiller is 1'' shorter, makeing it easier to ****. Give Dave a call at Wyvern Creations 603 659 0575 he'll listen to your needs and tell it like it is. Great guy and very knowledgeable re crossbows.

Strykeforce is the best, most accurate Xbow out their IMHO. Ditto about Wyvern, He sells both.

I saw the cyclone at the Buckmasters Expo this past weekend on sale for $499. Was an 09 model.

Try and find a place where you can shoot them both.
This past December I went to a bow shop with the intentions of buying a Parker Tornado. I shot it but it had a loud whack and it just didn't feel comfortable. The owner asked me if I wanted to try another xbow. I said sure. He brought out a Strykeforce. I shot it several times and it was like night and day difference. Much quieter and faster.
Shoot them both and then make a decision. Good Luck!
