10 point customer service

Called for a part for a Hunter X-bow [change there name to 10 about 15 years a go] The X- b0w is about 18 years old. They said they did not stock or use that part any more, they use a different mounting system now. BUT they would make the part and have it in the mail in a week. I got it yesterday. AT NO CHARGE !!!
There are still some companies with real customer service.

thats good to know for future. i called excalibur for a screw that the allen head rounded and stripped on a current model and i got the run around. why wouldnt you have extra screws available is weird? ten point actually making you a part from a discontinued model shows they sure do care.

Call Dan Miller of their warranty center in Ohio 740-483-2312, he handles all such issues.

excalibur needs to get the word out on who repairs or has parts for there stuff. i called excalibur direct and they told me to look in a hardware store. nice :confused2:? i then asked for the size thread of the bolt and they couldnt even tell me that. im not sending my bow in for a rounded screw. i just think its odd they dont have a box of every screw that is in there xbows since there all basically the same just laying around. probably cost a 5 cents. danny miller doesnt have a website. i find that strange for a company that is one the bigger in crossbows. guess what? i just put the nasty screw back in and lived with it for now.

doesn't sound like you used a web site w/ 1st go round. You could have called Miller and had screws coming in less time than typing the two posts.

He doesn't use a secretary that can get confused either.

Kudo's to 10 pt!

hate to burst your bubble. this is what i found on excaliburs web site.http://www.excaliburcrossbow.com/content/contact i called and got told to go to a hardware store direct from the company. what a joke. the person never even mentioned danny miller for repairs in the usa. if excalibur had a link to danny miller or even an explaination of what to do on there website page i wouldnt be writing this. its almost like a secret club and your not in the know if you dont know danny miller. just telling my story as it happened. to tell you the truth danny is a nice guy but very opinionated.just dont tell him you want an sts or fast flight string. you will get an hour long speech. not the kind of thing i want when its my crossbow that i want to fix up. im gonna call tomorrow to see how long it takes to get the screw. if he even has it.:sheep:

Dan Miller is no bargain either. ANYWAY ... I've always trumpeted Swarovski as the high bar in customer service ... "World Class Customer Service" as I call it. Gleaned from personal experience. More and more often I'm reading posts from Ten Point owners ecstatic with the way Ten Point treats them. Ten Point is beginning to nudge it's way into my mental image of World Class CS alongside Swarovski. That's pretty impressive.

When my Excal scope failed just days before opener, Dan got a new scope to me in TWO days...before I had even returned mine, no questions asked, no charge. THAT is world class service.
