Smile Question? Not what to buy but where?

Brand new to the crossbow scene. Longtime archer though. Have my company narrowed down to Excalibur. Not quite sure on a model yet. I really want to give my business to a local shop instead of the Big C or Bass Pro. I am in SE Michigan and really don't have any shops close, so I am looking for reputable dealers who sell Excalibur and accessories and are reasonably priced. Would like some input from you guys who would be good to deal with. I will be doing mail order so location is not a problem. Thanks in advance.

I carry.....just remember that 2010 has some new stuff coming out. One company is coming out with a whisper quiet bow this year. Also with a pro shop you might get some extras! The box stores can only do what the office allows.

I agree, call David. I got the Excalibur Phoenix and love it. Got it Saturday and killed a 8 point Monday.

Wyvern is a good choice, for Excals [only]you might consider the USA warranty rep Danny Miller, phone only at [740] 483-2312.

Both are great guys and I think there's a Mi dealer on here too.

Probably a return or floor bow. Check the limbs carefully w/ a cotton ball for splinters and you should be good to go. If you have any problems, skip Cabelas, [or any other point of sale] and deal direct w/ Miller.

I really liked my Emax, same bow, diff stock, but found the Ecet more pleasant to live w/.
