Umm.. NO.. Sound travels at 1,125ft/second..
And, I was sitting in a tree not far from where I could see his Hunt unfold this year. I heard the crossbow, then I heard the arrow hit the deer... So....... The deer definately hear the Crossbow way before the arrow hits them!

Unless your arrow is shooting faster than the speed of sound (I'd like to see it) then that is a ridiculous claim.:bash:

quieter

i too had the exocet with boo string and whiskers, and the sts.the sts helped just a little, not $50 worth.not much more you can do with it.i now own a parker tornado.after having a quiet compound, its hard to get use to the noise.a relaxed deer is by far the best that can happen.my parker scored this week.

They all make noise,I have owned Barnett,Horton and my favorite Excalibur! I try to keep my shots 30 yards and under and aim low because they will jump the string...:bash:
