Lighted nock

Imade my own lighted nock today.Watched the youtube video and decided to try it on crossbow bolts.I just got a pair of pliers and twisted and pulled the original nock out.It already had a small hole on the bottom of the nock.I found the right size drill bit and drilled.(not all the way through like the video). The light(Thill replacement light:Walmart $3.50)slide tight into the nock.I didnt have to use super glue or anything it was the perfect tightness.<not sure if thats a word. For the piece that goes in the arrow i just used a peice of a dow rod and drilled a hole in and glued the battery in itand pushed it down in and it fit tight.Tested it out about 10 times and worked perfectly every time.He are are some pictures

May be cheap but that nock isn't finished. Still needs a stop behind the battery to turn on the light. And the nock has to move just enough to turn on/off the light and yet not be so loose that it will pop out from impact.
I just bought a pack of Firenocks, they work great. Now instead of looking for an arrow that costs $6.00, I'll be looking for a $25 arrow!:D

Actually I only intend to use F nocks during low light conditions.

For the stopper that goies in the arrow i used a peice of dow wooden rod that i drilled a hole in the bottom, put glue on the battery and glue it in the hole.I just wiggle it out a a tad and when the string hits it it pushes the the light in then i wiggle it out a little to shut it off.kinda like the lumenocks but only costs me $3.50 for a ligt at walmart.(thill replacement bobber battery)i just bought some arrows and pulled the nocks out with pliers and used them.

Nice work, ogg. What kind of arrows are you buying that have the translucent nocks?
