Cold weather and crossbows?
O.k. i must have my head examined but i was out in the 8 degree weather the other day with an 18 mph wind i guess making it 0 out, for about two hours, i had three deer (does) come to my set-up, i took a shot at the lead doe(20) yards my shot was 8-10 inches low!! i cut brisquit hair and made i flesh wound on her thats it!, i saw her run off 100 yards or so and tracked her 400 with only little specs and she kept going, i was usinga 125 spitfire but it should'nt have mattered, the shot was low cause i think the stealth x-2 i was using FROZE, and when i released the arrow it hit that low cause i think the limbs were frozen, is this possible?? has anyone had this happen before??

Something in the cam is possible, but I have never seen cold effect a bows performance and I was in some nasty weather this season and everything worked just fine. Frost on the shaft is possible...it may have casuesd it to fly wierd. IMO, the culprit is probably the shaft and not the bow
