My predator is quieter than my stryker and is a lot easier on string servings.

No problems with the Predator, had to send the stryker back for the trigger recall.

I currently shoot three, two Excals (Vortex, Phoenix) and a Parker Cyclone.
Have owned the Excal Equinox and Parker Terminator. The Parker gives me the speed I thought I needed (355 fps) at about half the price of the BowTech models capable of comparable velocity. If I were to own just one it would likely be the Vortex. Simple, durable, zero problems and a great customer support system. But, it's much wider than most compounds. That could make a difference depending how you hunt. For a truly objective opinion, call Dave Wyvern at 603-659-0575. He sells all kinds and will give you the lowdown regardless if you buy from him. BTW, his prices are very competitive and service simply great. Whatever you do, try as many as you can for fit and feel. Shoot them if they let you. The trigger, is everything in crossbows as it is in rifles/handguns.
