RE: best crossbow
parts wear out????
well i have a horton dakota over 12 yrs old with thousands of shots thru her and i have replaced the string once and thats it.
nice bow but noisy.
i was looking pretty hard at excals for bow #2 but i hunt out of a ground blind some and will probably more in the future and the wide limbs are a problem there.
also not quiet...
i decided on a darton because of more compact limbs with great speed
and quietness too and at the top of the scale in kinetic energy
and thats what slides the broadhead through the deer
also darton has a long standing reputatin in the archery world
fortop notch bows.
