I am really getting depressed. This is my first year in the woods during archery season. So far I am seing lots of deer, but none that are willing to come in closer. I sit there and range deer at 55yds, 48 yds, but none within my first time comfort zone.

Oh well next saturday we will have smokepoles in the woods and I will reach out and touch one.

Conrats, Way to hang in there.

I too was interested in if you weighed that big ol' gal.

Take Care and keep us posted on your season.

I didn't have a scale to weigh her. I'd say she was a 3yr old doe. She didn't have a ounce of fat on her either when we scun her out. was deffinatly one of the biggest does ive killed.

I still am hunting a small spot with the xbow, but have not hadany deer sightings yet. I know they are in this area because I have then on my trail cam. Will let everyone know howI fair in the future.
