Crossbow sling set-up

So after my first weekend in the woods with my Horton HD-150 i realized that the sling I had on there sucked. I also broke off one of the plastic sling mounts and am planning on mounting some uncle mikes sling studs. The sling I was using was just a plain old rifle sling, but it too short and slippery for the x-bow. Do you guys have any sling recomendations? I know of one called the claw. Is there anything else out there?

There are specialty slings, but I find the biggest issue I have with a crossbow is slipping off the shoulder. I have a cheap rubber backed sling which sticks to my shoulder and carries my bow upside down. I prefer to carry arrow tip down and in front of me. My climbing stand and a backpack are on my back. I sling over my shooting shoulder with the bow in front. I can raise and shoot from this position, if needed.

The Claw Non-Slip Crossbow Sling
The Claw Non-Slip Crossbow Sling is one of the most secure slings we've found for carrying your crossbow to and from your hunting location. The gator clip uses the top-heavy nature of the crossbow to hold it tightly to your shoulder or back. And with the flick of a thumb, the clip releases for fast mounting. It attaches to any crossbow with stud posts. HUSH STALKER II? Sling Swivels are included.

nksmfamjp: Thanks for the advice. I found myself doing something similar with my bow, but it was still slipping off. I guess it might have something to due with trying to carry a backback, and summit climber, and a x-bow. I kinda felt like the michelin man. Especially when I jumped a 350+ pound russian boar (who was not very nice BTW)with all that going on. Needless to say running wasn't an option at that point.

Buckhunter1: Thanks for the review. I had one of those in my had at BPS and decided to put it down due to the extra $38 it was going to cost, but after wrestling with all my crap in the woods I think I should have. Maybe I should just try carring less.
