Practice Point Question

I've taken the last six years off hunting since my boys were born and now I'm digging all my stuff back out. Well, I had my Horton restrung and now I have to zero it back in. My question is how many grains are the standard field points that come with most Horton bows and bolts?

the ones I've seen were 100's. you might get better bhead results w/ 125's if you use fixed blades. Increased weight will only cost you 5-8 fps, imo.

Dan nailed it. Standard issue is 100, but some like the 125's better.

100's with mine and I shoot 100 grain BH's. Only had to tweak about 1 1/2 inch left to center the BH. Been practicing for a month with BH's only. Opener Is tomorrow and I have peak confidence in my set up.

RE: Practice Point Question

You probably have 100's but if you have any doubt buy a handful to match your BHs'. It's the only thing my bow monkey will actually give away so Igotta believe their cheap. Well to be fair he has parted with peep tubing for nothing as well.

Are you gonna getbullet style or regular field points? Always wondered what the difference was...
