125gr or larger

Anybody use 125gr to 150 gr broadheads? Which ones? How do they fly? I'm looking for a better replacement for my 125gr Liberty broadheads. They don't fly well over 25 yards or so. I'm looking at their bolt sonic at 150gr for improved FOC.

Any thoughts?

Looking for a fixed broadhead for deer. I should have mentioned that.

why not mechanicals?
the NAP spitfire's fly just like field points and make an awsom blood trail.
they work well even through bone. I hit one buck dead on the sholder bone and went out through the off side bone and into the dirt.you would have though he was hit with an 06 in the sholder.

work great fo me. my wife and I have taken 19 deer since we started to use them without a fail.only had 3 blades that I had to replace, all the rest I just touched with a diamond file.

I agree mechanicals wor perfect when they deploy and ddeployment failures are getting much more rare. I still have a preference for a cut on contact fixed broadhead which flies well. If I fail in that search, I may start looking at mechanicals. Trouble is, without a spare deer, I have no way to be sure how it will perform.

I used the 170 gr Spitfire last year on my elk and it did an awesome job. I would rather take a chance on a mechanical not opening (very rare) then take a chance on not hit where I was aiming because a fixed blade planed on me.
Just my thoughts.

G5 Montecs and Strikers fly well for me. Both are cut on contact. For cut on impact the Slicks shoot as well.

Anyone use 125gr ABC Sonics? They look like a good heavy head. Everything says they fly like field points, but I can find that said about any head!
