How does a rope cocker work. I can't tell from looking at the pictures. How does it pull it with out getting in the way

RE: rope cocker

With bow standing upright in front of you, and trigger facing inward, hook the right hook on the bowstring next to the rail. Run the cocker ropeup and over the back of the trigger mechanism block, then down, and hook the left hook onto the bowstring close to the left side of the rail. Now, grasp the handles and pull up and back. The bowstring between the hooks will be raised up until the claw grasps it (bow is then cocked), at which time you can release tension on the handles, and disengage the cocker hooks.

Go to this link and scroll down to rope cockers, click on video for your puter set up [slow or fast]. There's a bunch of videos here on a far range of subjects, not all are exclusive to Excals. http://excaliburcrossbow.com/demo/li...category_id=47
