UPDATE
 

For thos that know my wife and I have been having Issues with her Dad(Jerry)being in the Hospital and her sister doing dumb things,well Jerry is in the VA now and looks like he will be passing in the nxt few days(hope not),he dosnt want diallisess(spl) but she(sister-in-law)told them to do it.....anyway we have Gerold(older brother of wife)flying in from Virginia today day to put sally in her place,Jerry has sufferd for 10 long months and now he wants to just go,I hope gerold puts sally in her place today.We are heading to the VA in a hour then to Norther ND to start cleaning out Jerrys house...

Thanks for letting me vent AGAIN.

Sorry for your situation. Boith my parents are in a bad way now and ithas been a rough road for me and my family.

My mother has a DNR (do not resusitate) order. Did your father-in-law not have one? If so the hospital should go with this order and not worry what your sister-in-law wants. I understand how your sister-in-law must feel, but it is for the benefit of your father-in-law and not her. Ihope all works out for your and your family without anytrouble.

sorry to hear your situation.
i spoon fed my mom for 6 months and i was there 10 hrs everyday until she passed away last year.
it was sad time for me .

now i moved dad in with us, he is 94 and is sick also and cant walk,losing his eyesightand i dont want him in nursing home,so i take care of him also at home.

i hope they find me sitting in my treestand,thats way i want to go.

Just got back from New Rockford ND,no Improvement and Jerry isDo Not Resusitate(hopefully she wont change that order again),she didnt even call us to let us know what was going on today while we were up northmy wife had to call the VA in Fargoand ask how he was doing and to top it off she wouldnt even give us half the fuel cost witch was only96 bucks,we asked for only 40 bucks witch was less then half the cost,granted its not the money but what we brought back was all stuff for her house being we want nor need anything from His house......

At least My wife and I are in our right mind..........And I have my Bows and my Muly/Goat huntto keep my mind off most of this bull poop....I have a feeling that the poop is going to hit the fan hard between my wife and her and its going to hit hard in the nxt day or so......

First off she can'tchange that orderunless sheis her mother's medical power of attorney. If she is, thenall is moot!

Nowas to the hospital, all it takesis for you to get with them and ask why they are notcomplying with the DNR. And ifare not,why dothey wanttoget sued. All hospitals honor DNRs and I can't understand why these idiots are not.

My wife just called a little bit ago and told me that Gerold the Doc and the Pastor talked and Gerold told them to DNR him,he is taged DNR and moved to 2nd floor,they say he will start going into coma this evening.
Finally there looks to be a end and a New begining.....AND my sister-in-law cant do a thing about it........(she was filling Gerold with a bunch of crap about how well jerry was doing and now he knows the truth and he is not happy)......
Its sad to say that Iam happy but it will make My life and my wifes life much better and closer and jerry will be with his wife finally.My wife thinks I will be mad if I cant go on my hunt due to jerrys passing in the nxt few days,I told her you got to be kidding..My wife needs a vacation more then I need a hunting trip but she will never take one but now that there is a end in site maybe she will get back to her easy go happy way of life like she used to be before all this happend.

Well Jerry left us Thursday(4th) morrning at 6am,I just got out to western ND for my Muly and Goat hunt Weds evening and Thurs when I woke up I drove to a high area to call the wife and let her know we made it,then she told me the news so needless to say I arrived home at 5:10 this AM.....Iam glad and sad but now the waitting is over,Jerry will be laid to rest next to His wife on Monday in Grace City N.D.........

This is what we do. We bury our loved ones. Our fathers, mothers, other friends and family. Never pleasant, but always inevitable. Best we can do is hope for a long fulfilling life and a painless passage. Words seldom have much meaning in times like these, but my thoughts and prayers are w/ you, bud.

come Monday eveninga new chapter starts and my wife will get her life back as some of you know my sister-in-law has been totally self centerd in what she has done and for thos that dont know I hope you never half to deal with a family member or in-law like her.........NOW IT GETS BETTER........
My sister-in-law(i call her something else)went to the house and packed everything upin a u-haul and gave stuff away and Jerry isnt even berried yet,I mean she gave awaythings my wife should of had or her one older brother should of had insted she gave him a photo and aused vacume cleaner then told him to his face thathe was worthless then she gave Jerrysgolf cart to the granddaughter who is only 20yrs old and just started collage,why I dont know then she broke allthe kitchen dishes because she didnt want to box them up andthen there aremy wifes Military pictures and other personal things that were in the house,well we dont know were they are yet.......And yes it even gets better/worse yet but I will leave the rest of the soap opera for another time.....
