Help with sighting in Parker CB

Hi all 1st post here, recently purchased a Parker Buck Buster 150 online. Got it all put together and have been shooting these past few days. I have a problem with itconsistentlyshooting 4 to 5 inches high @ 10 yards and that's after i have adjusted the elevation knob all-the-way so as to shoot as low as it can.

When i try to shoot from 20 yds i completely overshoot the cube target and hit my fence (several times). When i look down the rail and stock i see a few 'dips' in the composite that when loaded it has gaps under the bolt and especially at the metal end near the stirrup. Could the tip end of the stock be elevating the tip of the bolt causing it to shoot higher than the scope can adjust for?

My next step is to contact Parker and see what they think but i was looking for ideas here as well. Thanks in advance.

RE: Help with sighting in Parker CB

Last March I purchased this same crossbow. It is my first crossbow and at 20 yards off-hand with the single red dot scope it is capable of putting one arrow on top of the other, so it is capable of being very accurate. Knowing this, I'd suggest that you contact the Parker company and let then know of your problems. From what I've read about their company on other posts, they will do what it takes to correct the problem. Tom

Potential scope and rail issues aside, to make it shoot lower use a shim under the FRONT ring. (It elevates the scope, loweres the barrel). Piece of aluminum can cut with shop scissors works just fine.
If the scope or red dot has a cross memeber that fits into the weaver base, make sure it's alll the way down into the slot. If the back one is high, it will make the bow shoot high and vice versa for front.
