Field points/Broadheads

Hi Ya'll. I was wondering if anybody uses 125gr field points/broadheads? I am currently using 100gr. I was wondering what any advantage/disadvantages would be possibly switching to 125gr.
Thanks!

no advantage unless you need extra 25grs wt. for FOC up front

They will give you a little more kinetic energy and they will be a little quieter. They will slow you down a little as well.
Pluses and minuses.

RE: Field points/Broadheads

like smoke said, no real advantage IMO unless you need it for FOC, in fact the weight of the tip I use is entirely dependent on what I need/have for FOC,I use 125gr in my carbon arrows but shoot 85gr in my 2213's, however, I made my own weighted inserts for the 2213's(carbons too) to make up the weight difference to keep my FOC where I want it, both my carbons and alumin arrows have 18% FOC despite the 40gr weight difference between the points
