Wifes first Crossbow
so I am trying to get my wife into the sport but dont want to spend much on a crossbow in case she shoots it once and says she doesnt want to do it anymore (like she did with the shotgun I got her a couple years back). She cant pull back a regular bow (atleast not legal hunting weight) so I figured the next best thing would be the crossbow. Any suggestions from some seasoned veterans?

RE: Wifes first Crossbow
Look at Ten Points GT Flex and Pro Slider. They are small and light weight and can be adjusted to 3 different draw weights. I have both and they are great crossbows at a reasonable price.

If she didn't like the shotgun, buy her a dishwasher and forget about the crossbow. She won't like the cocking of the bow either.

All joking aside the Flex at it's lowest setting will be a breeze for your wife to shoot. It is a very nice bow, the dry-fire mechanism is a real plus for her but the noise may be annoying(depends on her). The noise is not an issue because it can be delt with. Plus it is really quite resonable to buy.

I agree, look into the Ten Point Series of cross bows and get one with the electricacu-draw system.
