I know this is a crossbow but I thought at 8 he would have an interest in hunting. Nope, he only shot it about 5 times at 15 yards and then just never really had the interest to go hunting. More interested in dirt bikes and 4 wheelers. Save big bucks as I am willing to let it go for 515 TYD obo. 10 Point web site lists this crossbow at 719.00.
