Ten Point Xbows

I went to my local outdoor store this afternoon after my gym session and took a hard look atthe Ten Point crossbows and had an opportunity to fire a few. One word... AWESOME. THE cranking system on these bows is ingenious. I assumed upon looking at them that my cheek would hit the box-like protrusion but that wasn't the case. A few of the models were a tad nose heavy but notihng too extreme. The triggers were great and the vibration and noise weren't nearly what I'd experienced with a few other models that I'd fired. The Xbows Ilooked atranged in price form $650 to $1,750 for the top of the line. I've seen the $1,750 bow (Phantom I beleive) on line for less.

Bottom line, these were sweet shooting and easy cocking bows that were an absolute pleasure to shoot. I'm far from experieinced and haven't shot every make out there, but Ten Point really has some quality products. The scopes, too, were excellent quality. I can see why so many people rave about Ten Point products.

Personally I like my Excals the best but Ten Point does make a good product to be sure. I really like their anti dry-fire mechanism. It's simple and works well. Personally I don't care for compound crossbows but their recurve crossbows are great for the money.

Which TenPoint do you think you might get? Friend of mine hunts with a ProElite and he let me shoot it at targets a few times. Awesome xbow. Cranking system was easier, faster and quieter than another make, I had tried. Good luck, whichever one you decide to go with.

I love them all :-)

For me there is no one best crossbow. Depends on what your priorities are like weight, size, width, noise, feel, recoil, harshness, ease of maintenance, speed, etc.

Wow..... that's a most impressive collection. <<Green with envy>> How do you find the time to shoot all of them?
