Default Bolts

I wanted to know if anyone had some bolts they would be willing to donate to disabled hunters. If so, they will be shot out of a Horton with a 175lb draw. I lead a non profit chapter in NE Montana now and it is the only way many of the disabled can hunt. Any donation would be a tax write off. Thanks!

Joe

They are ARROWS!! Bolts are what hold things together! Arrows are what are shot from a crossbow.

Postan address where to send the arrows. I have a few Horton Arrows I can send you.

Ooooops... I've called them crossbow bolts as well.... my bad. <<Red with embarassment>>. I thought I read it here that crossbow bolts don't have vanes and only arrows have vanes... Griz, is that correct?

Bolts were short and vainless used in old midevil crossbows....some also shot stones...anyway WE modern CB shooters use Arrows......A lot of folks still call em bolts, not to worry all is OK in my world..

We all know what bolts are in the modern world...They are sometimes used with Burrs(nuts)to hold things together..

Some very ancient crossbows used "bolts". They were plain shafts with no feathers . Modern andsome Medevial crossbows use arrows. Calling them bolts is fuel for the anti's to use, and it is not the true name of modern crossbow projectiles!

It is meant to only penetrate with the forward black point into a soft board. Very similar to a dart. For targets only.
