preparing crossbow for turkeys
Just sighted in my old Excal Exocet a littlewhile ago. Still amazes me how accurate these things are. Put a new scope on it, I know some of you will say this is "overkill" but I put a Nikon 3x10 with a 50 MM objective lens on it. I figured the light gathering would come in handy this fall.
Myquestion is "Does the followingsound about right"? We zeroed it in at 15 yards, I mean "same hole in the dot" zeroed. I want my turkeys in close. We then shot it at 22 yards, just happenedto be the distance from my carport to the target, and it dropped about 1 1/4 inches. I actually expected a little more drop so I wanted to know if this was the norm? xbowbarry |
