Crossbow King Target

Does anyone have any experience with this target. I shoot a Horton Hunter 175 and am looking for a strong, durable target that will withstand my Hunter's penetration.. Any info. is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

RE: Crossbow King Target

I have one and I have been happy with it. I probably have 100 shots into it and it will still stop an arrow at 10 yards with no penetration at the rear of the target. The arrows from my Exocet stop about 1" from the back of the target. The arrows can be tough to pull so I would recommend that you get an arrow puller if you don't have one. Dan Miller is a good source. IMO it is a decent target for the money. BTW it is a broadhead only target. It is not for field points. I knew that and I shot it with a field tip anyway.:DI had a helluva time getting it out of the target.

RE: Crossbow King Target

I have no input on that target, in fact I havent bought a "store bought" target for quite some time, my beat up old foam deer target from the 1800's still has a little life left in it and is mainly my broadhead target now

I know its a beat up topic but I use homemade ones, I just dont seepaying what they want for a target when I can easily make one just as good, if not better, for nothing...
I have a compressed cardboard one and a couple bag ones, the compressed cardboard one took a little to make but the bag ones are put together out of plastic woven feedbags and old plastic wrap from walmart, my dad has several feedbags from feeding deer and walmart will gladly give away as much old used plastic wrapas you want, so I have zero $ into either of mine...
I've shot the hell out of my main one, they more than stop the arrows out of my phoenixand easily pull out with one hand

theres alot of target threads, here and on other boards, with alot of different ideas
