Another reason to CB
All of the remaining venison contributed for food pantry distribution in three states is being dumped due to possible lead contamination. Studies show that well over 60 % of the study sample had lead fragments (most so small that they can only be seen on X ray). Over half million lbs were contributed by hunters in Minn. N.D. and Wisc. last season. No mention made of how much had already been consumed.

RE: Another reason to CB
Actually, acording to the newsarticle, he's a hunter, Ranger. So, I'm not privy to his motivation. But it doesn't bother me in the least. Been hunting with all copper bullets for years (Barnes X and TSX). Not only do they not contain any lead but 19 consecutive one-shot kills with 5 different non-magnum, "marginal" chamerings (of which the 280 Remmi is the largest), tells me I'm onto a good thing.
