Windows? YUCKY!!! Firefox is a browser not associated with Microsoft or Apple so they have made it work for both. The regular browser for Mac is Safari and I dont care for it much. FF is much better IMHO

Glad you got it figured out Dan, sorry I was not around to help. My brother in-law got into some bad sites once and they messed up his windows program. So he did the Fire Fox thing to get the net working again for the wifes mom. It has the same problem as you mention, I never tried fixing it since it is not my computer, just deal with it the little I am over there. But it is really a pain to deal with!
