I'm in the market for a new crossbow package around $500. I'm looking for a compound for most of my tree stand, blind, stalking and feel the more compact compund will help. I've been doing allot of reading an research on these two xbows. I would like to hear others experience with these two or others around $500package.

I really like my 150 lb Terminator. Shoots accurately and is small enough to be handy in a tree stand from which I hunt mostly. I'm getting a chroned 318 fps with 420 gr arrows. No doubt the 175 will 325 or perhaps more, with a 350 gr bolt. Notice some press on theirt new Cyclone. It's a 175, with inverted cams so is only 18" wide drawn and weighs just 6.5 lbs. That I have to see.
I'd have to shoot any bow I buy. To see the fit and finish and how well it fits me. Also to test the trigger, which is all important to CB accuracy.

Thanks for the info Cossack, I'll check into the 150lb it'll get the job done just as well and be a little easier on the pocket. Wonder if there is any difference in accuracy between the 2 being a few fps different, I want it to be as accurate as possible.

I have the terminator 175 and love it, its fast and acurate
bought it last fall killed with it right out of the box.
You will love the Parker plus it has a lifetime gaurantee.
You will have to take the screws out and locktite them,
then zero it in.

thank you all for the input. I will be picking up a CB this month an will be calling Wyvern when I'm ready to see what my options are in my price range. I want my best bang for the buck and have a CB that I won't have to worry about upgrading in the future, now want is a different story.

I made it out to a one store to handle a couple of xbows. The titan tl7 like the size and weight but not so much the trigger, phoenix simple an light but the width from limb to limb worries me for ground an treestand hunting, haven't found anyone that carries Parker in stock but have heard good things from the people an stores that carry an use them now if I can just my hands on one. I'll be heading out to a couple other store's to see what they have.
