Crossbows in Connecticut
What are the legalities of even carrying a crossbow? I want to stump shoot and such in the local forest. No license - but Im not hunting. Is there a law on the books that states you cant even go into the state forest without a license for a crossbow?
you guys ever get hassled by traditional bowhunterss, archers etc? Pete |
RE: Crossbows in Connecticut
courtesy 10 pt's site:
Connecticut Crossbows legal only for handicapped hunters by permit. www.dep.state.ct.us 860-424-3011 asyou can see, it looks like you don't want to be in the woods if something is in season and risk being thought of as a poacher when there isn't. I'd check w/ your F&G dept. |
