crossbow question

RE: crossbow question
Not only will it not work, chances are it will not be legal to do so. Most areas that I know of have minimum and maximum draw weights for regular bows and crossbows. Ohio's for crossbows is 75 pound minimum and 200 maximum. So in Ohio you would be breaking the law. Them are toys and more of a novelty then anything, at most to torment birds in the back yard.

RE: crossbow question
Is it one of them thar pistol types? To be honest if you could hit a rat at 10 yds. with it, it may dispatch it! Don't try to shoot no tick toting deer with one. Just cause the deer pain may get infection![&o]

RE: crossbow question
Rifleboy,
the guys are leading you true. I have one of the ones you are talking about and as they said it si pretty much a toy. this question gets asked all the time in here and these guys are are about hunting with serious crossbows. It si pretty much illegal in all states as they have poundage limits on the bows taht are used. Those things are fun though. can you hit with it? I am not worth a crap with mine....
