Dan, the best glue I've tried to date is the black HIT adhesive from Easton. I take a bore brush and deglaze the inside surface of the shaft, use a 3M pad (red) on the insert and then clean both the inside of the shaft and outside of the insert with 98% alcohol. When its all dry I put the HIT adhesive on the insert and a drop at the edge of the open end of the shaft. The insert gets quickly put in with a twist. The insert is held in tight for 30 seconds against the table. Wipe off the excess adhesive and you can shoot it in 15 minutes. I've done this tons of times with internal inserts of the Axis shaft.

Thanks, Don, but that link shows two glues, one is an epoxy in syringe type tubes like Devcon, the other appears to be a super glue type in single tube, which one are you using?

RE: Arrow recommendations please
The epoxy is slightly better but I only use the super glue type now. I have shot an arrow into a contrete wall with no damage at all.
