F-1 Chrony results

The Chrony came last week with my Nikon 440 Range finder, which so far, I love, longest measured known range is 160 yards and it was right on. Anyways I took out my Chrony out and was happy with the out come. I am shooting a Excal Vortex 200# with the brass Miller killers fletched with Nap 2" quick spins and 100 grain heads. Also using DNK or also known as the BOO strings, his FFF string, unsure of strand number. Was getting a average of 319 FPS! Was happy with that since I was thinking I was closer to the 305 mark with the heavier arrows. Just wanted to share and maybe can do more shooting this weekend. Thanks Don and Dan with all your help so far on this adventure!

Jason, what's the total arrow weight? About 420 gr.? I like to keep checking the theory that you lose [or gain] 1 fps for every 5 gr change in weight. Looks like your bow's advertised 330 fps was spot on.

Did some more shooting today with the Chrony. Brace hight changed by almost 1/8 inch but was still getting 319 FPS average speed. I then put on my 100 grain Tekan II's and was getting an average of 310 FPS every time? I thought that was strange, more wind resistance maybe? Buthaving fun with it and can't wait to get my BOO stringin and try that.
