HI ALL

just got back from western okla bow hunt

shot 2 slickheads 120 and 110 undressed

at 29 and 34 yds wednesday afternoon and thursday morning.

was field testing some shockwaves i bought on clearance

last year.complete passthru on both and even traveled thru the hind quarter before exiting.

i am a vortex man but was very impresseed with these.

shoot a horton dakota SL 150 and homade bolts from XX75,s

long live scentlok!!!

I am shooting a Horton myself, HunterMax 200 >>>>
If I had to do it again, it would be a 150 pounder, didn't know that the other was so heavy & strong ......
Have you ever used the Horton broadheads., like you, I purchased four boxes on last years clearance ( 12 heads ), been using Mangus 100g. Been wanting to know how the Horton heads would do in a deer >>>>> I am hunting in the swamps down here in Louisiana <<<<<<<<

i have not tried the horton heads but recently bought some gold tip gladiators on ebay that look good and i want to see how effective they are.

any body ever used the gold tips? rewiews?:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
