Need to know on Excal....Has a Boo string on it....could be afew months.

I like that idea, have the wife hold the bow and just twist her head by the ears to get the scope on.. "OK, pull the trigger now!"

I don't think it matters if you leave it or take it down.. I have read many, many times of guys who never take the string off with great success, others pull their string between every outing.. I have read a fair amount and can't say I have ever heard a convincing reason to do either one. Use your own judgment James,

My opinion is a strung bow is much betterthan an unstrung one;)..

Dave, I know for a fact that you would wake up to a beating if you tried to twist Jen's head by her ears! LOL!
I try to remember to remove my string if I am not going to shoot it for more than a couple of weeks. If I forget and leave it on for a few months I don't sweat it.

I voted "doesn't matter" cause it doesn't to me. If you unstring an Excal for any length of time, you need to take diss pads off of diss bars. Too much trouble, and I shoot mine constantly. There as a thread on Excal forum recently where a guy found one in a closet that had been strung for FIVE years. String had naturally stretched some, lol. He adj the bh and was right on target.

I have left mine strung. I didn't shoot it this past Jan. or Feb. but started 3-D's in March.

Hung and strung it is........If I grabed my wife by the ears I would have to kick the children outside for awhile ;););)...
