i am good with a compound bow and think i could do god with a crossbow

what should i get i am 6'6 a big guy shoot a lot
what brand and model should i look at
i havea reflex bow but they do no make crossbows
money is not a issue bought i do not wont to overdraft my checking account i hate those 35 dollar fees

pull weight i am up for any recommendation my bow is set at 68 and i can
pull that easy and i understand it is easy with a crossbow

weight of the crossbow itelf i am unsure what do you guys recommend light or heavy i will use it for hunting and pratice shooting

as far as compound or recerve i would perfer a compound as i understand it the benifits are the same as a reg bow

what sights a scope or pins sight like i have on my bow

bigtim6656 I do not understand that above statement. The biggest advantage the compound bow gives a user is the let-off when they get to full draw (for when holding it), well the crossbow uses claws to hold the bows at full draw, so there is no need for the let off. Yes there are some advantages of the compound over the recurve, but there are also some disadvantages.

Compound Croosbows
Advantages
- little shorter in width
- drawing string is lighter at the top when cocking
- speed /poundage ratio is better

Disadvantages
- heavier
- the balance is usually more front loaded
- more moving parts (cables, pullies)
- dependant on a shop for maintaince or repairs
- Chances of surviving a dryfire are slim to non without damage

Recurve crossbow
Advantages
- usually lighter
- slimplistic design.
- can do the maintaince and repairs yourself
- Usually will survive a dryfire (with quality bows and not single limb bows)
- Balance is usually better

disadvantages
- a little wider in width

I hope this helps you understand some of the differences between the two bows. I know that I missed some differences, but these are the most prominent.
