Quickspin vanes
 

I notice some of you guys use the Quickspin vanes.
How much speed do you gain on 4" vanes like comes with Dan Millers bolts?
Also, do they fly as good?

can help a little. Haven't used quick spins, but 2" Blazers are real close to same thing, especially w/ 8 degrees helical. I can't see any diff in poi at 30 w/ them or Millers 431 gr or the same arrow as Millers w/ a wrap that increases them to 446 gr. I'm sure there is a few fps diff over a chrony, but w/ my poi nearly the same I haven't bothered to check them. Blazers fly the same w/ field points as millers but prefer his w/ bheads as I get same poi w/ both and not w/ blazers [good groups though] I'm just too lazy to resight scope between the two, lol.

When I bought the Jigs I bought a 36 pack of them. I think they look cool, and that is about the only major advantage with them. Sometimes I think they shoot better then the Dan Miller vanes, but then sometimes not or the same at least. The only real gain I have with them is a friend seen them and said "cool"! Compared to Dans it is not like a noticeable change if any. When I use up the 36 pack I may just get the standard blazers since they arecheaper. Over all though I like them.
