Excal limbs and strings
 

So let me show my ignorance:
I've owned an Exocet for 4-5years now, and visit this forum often, but still have no idea what kind of limb pockets I have. Can I upgrade to flemish strings, or should I stick with what I have?
I just got this bow back from a friend (that took good care of it and had good success) but I haven't hunted with it for a long time and wan't to get it setup as a back-up for my vert-bow.

You have magtips so you can use Fast Flight, dacron etc. Flemish refers to the way the string material is put together which has no bearing on the limbs or tips.

Like Dnk said. Any string will work w/ "molded tips" The limb pockets are where they join the riser at the other end, you really don't have limb pockets w/ your bow. The other version is "carved limbs" which look like a plain old regular stick bow on the limb tips, they aren't so forgiving, so, you got the latest and best!!
