First Cresting

Not much on the artistic side, but this is my first set of crested arrows per the link that AWSHUCKS posted a while back. Not sure how much of this I willend up doing, but it is nice to remove the old glue from the vanes with just a wipe of a cloth.

I like using the JoJan jig and the Gold Tips fit in the nock holder real tight. The first one I did it was painted all the way but then when I pulled it out of the jig it took some paint with it! So I mask off the end to make it look clean and not scratched. Thanks for the compliment Dan.

Looks good Jason! Let's see if you stop here! LOL! Just another band here or there and some fade work and you've tarted up your arrows!

Looks good, i will have to get a JoJan mono jig. My old EZ jig doesn't like my goat tuff glun. I have cleaned it with acetone i have use release stuff don't matter. That goat glue sticks to it like iron![&o]

It will stick to the JoJan too Mike. But since it is metal you can scrape it off real nice and be on your way. I just give it a shot of lube and wipe off the excess and it is ok and does not stick as bad.

Question for you guys, Do you guys have a problem with to much glue? I try to put it on even, but sometimes I end up with to much and it leaks out the sides and then when I try to wipe off it makes a nasty mess. Any tips on how to avoid this? Or just wipe and deal with the streaks?

Mine does the same with extra glue going out the sides. Its easier to get it off the metal as you said. I have to sand it off on the EZ.
