I don't have one, but DSA gave Carl the 150 lb. same model as yers. It looks like a decent CB. Should shoot well and be a great deer killer!

My brother bought that one a month ago with the red dot. I've shot it and it's a pretty good crossbow. It will definitely do the job when the time comes.

Thats what I shoot...but I replaced the red dot with a vari-zone. Sweet shooter, but a bit heavy.

I recently bought this same crossbow and took the red dot scope off and replaced it with an Excal LumiZone scope. It makes a great combination !! Be sure to get the Horton Cocking Rope. Makes cocking the CB so much easier and assures that the string is square with the rail when cocked. Good luck !!

Talked to some Horton guys at shoot Sat w/ same problem. I set your bow up for a friend last fall that shot b-heads 10" low right from field points. Good groups, but low right. Can't find an answer, but Horton's was to go to mechanicals. They included small profile b-heads in package deal. Never did figure it out, as I shoot Excals and don't really care, lol, other than the darn bow beat me.

You will do fine with it, and like your dad will harvest deer with no problem. If you turn into a CB junkie then you might start looking harder, but that will be a great CB for ya.
